The THIRTY wheelset is a tubeless ready disc-only wheelset that offers excellent aerodynamic performance thanks to its 30 mm rim profile. The exclusive mid-depth rim profile ensures that THIRTYs cut through the wind at most true yaw angles, while keeping rolling weight extremely low. Since THIRTYs are fitted with disc brakes only, the rim is not weighed down by the need to accommodate a brake track. The reduction in material required on the outer edges of the wheel means lower rotational weight and without the constraint of having a fixed-shaped rim sidewall, making them even faster than traditional deep-section wheels while being lighter. Optimized for Tires from 25 to 28 mm, with an internal rim width of 21 mm and an external width of 27 mm, the flush interface between tire and rim improves aerodynamic performance while the use of wider Tires tubeless increases comfort and cornering ability.
The Black Inc THIRTY a revised hub construction with low-friction CeramicSpeed bearings and an updated freewheel body engagement system. This advanced design makes wheels feel like they'll spin forever, while instant engagement ensures no loss of momentum at critical moments during a race or workout. THIRTY wheels are available with Shimano, XDR and Campagnolo freewheel bodies. Straight-through rims and disc hubs work easily with CX-SPRINT and CX-RAY Aero Butted straight-through spokes. Internal alloy nipples keep the weight down and the wheel reliable.
