Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1 - Transport, arrival and rest

Flight from Montreal or Quebec, arrival at BCN and transport to Lloret del Mar.
Possible 30-50km warm-up on arrival, depending on schedule.

Day 2 - Lloret de Mar - Girona - Sant Gregori - 120km - 1000 D+ (altitude gain)

Highlights: Girona Cathedral, Girona's historic Jewish quarter, and the surrounding hills of Sant Gregori.

Day 3 - Lloret de Mar - Tossa de Mar - Sant Feliu de Guíxols - 90km - 1300 D+ climb

Highlights:
The medieval castle of Tossa de Mar, the magnificent Mediterranean coastline, the beaches of Sant Feliu de Guíxols.

Day 4 - Lloret de Mar - Caldes de Malavella - Cassà de la Selva - 90km - 1000 D+ (altitude gain)

Highlights:
Roman baths at Caldes de Malavella, wooded landscapes and the charming historic center of Cassà de la Selva.

Day 5 - Lloret de Mar - Montseny - Sant Celoni - 150km - 2000 D+ (altitude gain)

Highlights:

Montseny Natural Park, mountain landscapes and Mediterranean forests, village of Sant Celoni.

Day 6 - Lloret de Mar - Llagostera - Santa Cristina d'Aro - 102km - 1400 D+ climb

Highlights:
Panoramic route between Llagostera and Santa Cristina d'Aro, with views of mountains and sea.

Day 7 - Lloret de Mar - Vidreres - Hostalric - 95km - 800 D+ (altitude gain)

Highlights:
Hostalric medieval castle, country roads with agricultural landscapes.

Day 8 - Lloret de Mar - Banyoles - 170km - 1800 D+ climb

Highlights:
Lake Banyoles, picturesque landscapes of the Pla de l'Estany region, medieval center of Banyoles.

Day 9 - Lloret de Mar - Peratallada 127km -1600 D+ (over 16 hours)

Highlights: Medieval villages of Peratallada and Pals, cobbled streets, historic architecture and panoramic views.

Day 10 - Rest

Relaxation, packing, and last-minute exploration or shopping before departure.
