Chapter2 - KOKO Disc Frame BHARMS Artist Edition
"Part of the motivation behind this project is to get art lovers in love with cycling and cyclists in love with art. We're so similar and those of us who are involved in both can see it so plainly. It's a way of getting the two worlds together.
I've painted all of these lines by hand, one by one so if you actually get up to the frame or the paintings each line has a delicate wave or has some imperfection in it. I think the point of the paintings was to strive to be perfect, but always fall short."
- This exclusive design will only be produced in 60 frames worldwide. It will no longer be produced. -
Air resistance is the criterion that differentiates a fast bike from a high-performance bike. KOKO means "to glide, to fly" in Maori, and as the name suggests, this Aero model gives you fluidity and stability similar to gliding.
Following in the footsteps of the RERE, our first aero model, the KOKO now has Kamm-Tail profiles integrated into the downtube. This change has increased the overall stiffness of the Crankset gearbox and head tube by 13.35% and 35.64% respectively. Combined with our aerodynamically and ergonomically optimized MANA handlebars, the result is a racing machine that's both stylish and high-performance.
The KOKO also comes with a function that allows the seat clamp to be adjusted from a rigid to a smooth position, depending on the rider's personal needs and/or road conditions.
Latex mandrels for the front triangle and the Crankset T47 create a rigid frame and transfer every watt you produce into kinetic motion. And just like the TOA, we've made other minor modifications such as Helmet Quick-Fit spacers, up to 32 mm clearance from Tires and vibration-damping seatstays and seatpost.
